Please read the following carefully. By submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Garden Furniture Outlet website.

1. Descriptions, Prices and Information

When adding products to the website, we take care to describe and show items as accurately as possible. Despite this, slight variations in items may occur. We provide you with product information on gardenfurnitureoutlet.co.uk or by our Customer Service telephone staff. If there is anything which you do not understand, or if you wish to obtain further information, please contact Customer Services.

All prices displayed are correct at time of entry, and what the law calls an “invitation to treat”. You cannot insist that a shop sells you anything at a marked price, whether or not they have made a mistake. Under law, a retailer is entitled to decide the price he wants to charge for his goods. The price offered in respect of an item on the Garden Furniture Outlet website may differ from the price offered at the same time in our stores. We are under no obligation to honour any in-store price or promotion in the event that it differs from those on the Garden Furniture Outlet website.

If, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to proceed with the order. If you decide not to order the item, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that item in accordance with our refund policy.

In the same way you don’t have to buy goods from anyone, a retailer is under no obligation to sell you anything.

1.1 VAT

All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.

1.2 Flatpack

Unless otherwise stated, most of our garden furniture is delivered in easy to assemble flatpacked form, typically 4 or 5 pieces per item with very clear instructions. If you require pre-assembly please contact us on and we will endeavour to offer assistance.

1.3 Remittance Terms

Please note that for administrative reasons, we cannot take deposits or hold goods. Your credit/debit card is charged in full at the time of order. Orders placed using PayPal are re-directed to PayPal and are also charged in full at the time of order.

2. Stock Availability

We try to ensure that we always carry sufficient stock levels where possible. Where a product is despatched directly from a manufacturer, we may need to contact them first to confirm availability. If an item is knowingly out of stock it will be labelled as such on the Garden Furniture Outlet website. If you order from our Customer Services by phone, or in-store, you will be told if the item is in stock. If for any other reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are promptly refunded for that item.

3. Site Registration

To purchase from the Garden Furniture Outlet website, you can choose to setup a website user account. This is simple to do, allows you to keep track of your purchases, and ensures a positive buying experience.

You will need to enter a valid email address which we can contact you on, and provide a password. We ask you to keep this secure – our staff do not have access to see this. If you forget your password, you can reset it.

4. Delivery

Garden Furniture Outlet believes delivery should be fast, easy and hassle-free. Orders placed after Thursday PM, during the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will be subject to a slight delay as couriers do not operate a standard service during these periods. Once an order is placed, and an item has been dispatched, you will receive a Dispatch email. This will give you your delivery tracking number (where applicable).

4.1 Delivery to Mainland UK

Delivery pricing and schedules are available on our Delivery page. Delivery will be via Royal Mail or a private courier service. This is dictated by the total weight of your order.

4.2 Delivery to UK Highlands and Islands

This includes Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Delivery times on these orders will vary, depending on the size and weight of the order. 4.3 Delivery of Large or Bulky Products

Larger or bulky items, which can include some barbecues, garden furniture sets, and any oversized items, may require a specialised delivery service. Should this be the case, we will contact you and arrange a suitable day for delivery.

Delivery will take place on Monday – Friday between 8.00 – 6.00pm and there must be someone in to sign. If you are unsure on any particular item, please call us.

4.4 Delivery to Europe

We can arrange delivery to most European destinations. Delivery times and prices on these orders will vary, depending on the size and weight of the order. Delivery is calculated in our shopping basket when placing your order. You can also view this on our Delivery Information page . Please be assured that we always attempt to get your order with you as soon as possible, and we ask you to allow 7-10 days before chasing your order.

4.5 Delivery to Rest of World

We can arrange delivery to most worldwide destinations. Delivery times and prices on these orders will vary, depending on the size and weight of the order. Delivery is calculated in our shopping basket when placing your order. You can also view this on our Delivery Information page. Where a price is not included, please call us to obtain a quote. Please be assured that we always attempt to get your order with you as soon as possible, and we ask you to allow 7-10 days before chasing your order.

4.6 Delivery during busy periods

We experience a surge of orders between May to July and November to January. At these times, all our services and suppliers are pushed to their maximum capabilities and occasionally this can lead to a slight delay in order processing and despatch. We will endeavour to keep you informed at all times.

4.7 Next Day Delivery

Many products are available for next day delivery. At this time, orders must be placed by 8.30am to ensure this happens. Please speak to a member of our Customer Services team for further advice.

5. Completed orders and payments

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, UK Maestro and Switch, and Visa Electron. If you are shopping from a non-UK country, please place your order in the normal way, and your credit card company will convert the order to your currency.

5.1 Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we may be able to back-order it for you. Please call our Customer Services for more information.

5.2 Tax

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All non-EU countries may be entitled to a VAT refund. Please contact us for details.

5.3 Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, all details are 128-bit encrypted. They are not held in clear-text on any website.

6. Order cancellation

An order cancellation can only take place if an item has not been despatched. If an item has been despatched in good faith, this will then be classed as a return.

Should you wish to cancel an order, please call us immediately (do not email). No charges will then be levied.

7. Refund policy

Should a situation arise where a refund is required, an investigation may be carried out and a refund will be issued as soon as possible.

Once a refund has been processed, please allow 3-5 days for funds to show in your relevant account.

8. Returns

When enquiring about a return, please have full order details ready. When completing the Returns Form, please ensure this is completed fully and correctly to ensure your refund is processed quickly.

8.1 Unwanted items

If you wish to return any unwanted items that have already been dispatched, you must do this within 30 days of receiving the goods. You will be required to pay any return postage costs. The goods must be returned and received in original condition with original packaging, and fit for resale. You have a duty to take reasonable care of returned products and any refund may be withheld or a charge incurred if you fail to take such care and damage the products. Please make sure that your return package is packed and sealed securely. We recommend the use of an insured parcel service. Please retain proof of postage as we cannot issue refunds for items we do not receive. For further information, visit our Returns section.

8.2 Faulty items

If you have a fault with an item, please contact Customer Services and we will assist you in obtaining a refund or replacement.

Usually, we will advise you to take photos and email those to us.

8.2.1 Faulty Wellies

If you’ve had your wellies for less than 6 months, please email us 3 photos clearly showing the whole boot, the sole and the damaged area. We’ll review your photos and if we deem them faulty, we’ll send you a free returns label and a replacement pair of wellies will be issued once the faulty boots are received back.

If you’ve had your wellies for more than 6 months, please email us 3 photos clearly showing the whole boot, the sole and the damaged area. We’ll review your photos and if we deem them faulty, we’ll issue a replacement like-for-like pair of boots. It can be difficult to ascertain whether an items faulty or fair wear-and-tear, so it’s down to the customer to prove the fault to us.

We may decide to offer a customer a replacement pair of wellies, even where fault can’t be proved, as a gesture of goodwill. However, the returns postage for the “faulty” pair will be down to you (and we can’t replace the original items until we’ve received the faulty ones back).

8.3 Exchanges

If you wish to exchange any unwanted items, you must do this within 30 days of receiving the goods. You will be required to pay any return postage costs. The goods must be received in original condition with original packaging, and fit for resale. Any additional charge or refund will be processed at point of despatch.

8.4 Incorrect items

On some occasions, an incorrect item may be dispatched. Should this happen, please contact us immediately to arrange for a free returns label for small items, or courier collection for larger items. We will then arrange dispatch of the correct item.

This does not effect your statutory rights as a consumer.

8.5 Free Returns Special Offer

On occasion, we may offer a free returns period. On such occasions, we must be notified within 15 days of despatch of your intention to return the item, and we must receive the item within 30 days of your order. You must contact us to arrange for a free returns label to be emailed to you. You in turn must be able to print off this label to return the item to us.

Some larger items may require a collection by our specified courier service. We will ask you to provide us with a suitable weekday for collection to be arranged (between 8am-6pm).

8.6 Free Gifts

On occasion, we may offer a free gift when you order a particular product(s) or spend a certain amount. If you wish to return the paid item you ordered you will need to return the free gift also.

8.7 Voucher Codes / Discount Codes

On occasion, we may offer a discount on your order or certain items using a discount or voucher code. These codes are applicable for online transactions only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. We reserve the right to end or extend these promotions at any time and without notice. Codes must be used during the checkout process and cannot be applied after purchase.

8.7.1 MUCKNOV15 – This coupon code is only applicable to a further 10% discount off Muck Boots bought online between 27 November 2015 and 10 December 2015 inclusive.

8.7.2 BLK10 – This coupon code is only applicable to a further 10% discount off artificial Christmas trees bought online between 25 November 2015 and 1 December 2015 inclusive. 

9. Guarantee

In addition to normal manufacturers guarantees, we offer our own 30 day no-quibble money-back guarantee. If you decide for any reason the product is not suitable for you, then please contact us within this time. You will be required to pay any return postage costs. The goods must be received in original condition with original packaging, and fit for resale.

10. Price-Match Guarantee

Garden Furniture Outlet will always do its best to be great value. In the unlikely event you find a better deal elsewhere (which is in-stock and has free next-day delivery), then please call us and we will endeavour to match this.

11. Privacy Policy

Garden Furniture Outlet do not disclose buyers’ information to third-parties other than when details are required as part of the order fulfilment process or to gather review feedback. In these cases, the third-party will not disclose any of the details to any other third-party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process.

If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
